BIG developmental week!

Two weeks ago Francie started eating carrots - which she loved (made her gag the first time - you can tell from the picture she's not real sure... but she ate every bite)! Last week we added pears - not as crazy about them unless they are mixed in with her cereal.

She LOVES giving kisses - big wide open mouth wet kisses!! Papa is the recipient in this picture. Most of the time she wraps her arms around your neck and hugs while she's kissing - with a big grin on her face.

This is the day she figured out how to get up on her knees. Before this she would lay on her belly and her arms and legs would be moving like she was trying to crawl, but her belly wasn't off the ground. Now she's got the belly part figured out - as well as the leg part, just not quite moving the arms yet. She still manages to move all around! She head dives where she wants to go.

Last week we were in Dallas when she was learning all of these new things. I put her down on a pallet with some toys. I walked by her a few minutes later and she was sitting up! She's such a big girl!
