Police Report....No Criminal history!!

Another check mark! Last week Greg and I went to DPS, filled out the forms for our "criminal history", were photographed, and got fingerprinted. Before we went we prayed that God would take us right to the correct person who would know exactly what we needed and be able to help us get it with no run around - and He did. It was so easy!

He did help us avoid a close call. We went in, got a number, and waited for our number to be called. Once it was, we walked up, filled out the necessary paper work, and paid the fees. We were sent back to our seat to fill out more paperwork. My driver's license has "Casey M. Martin" even though my middle name is my maiden name. My social security card and passport have "Casey G. Martin". For our dossier paperwork every single time our name is mentioned is has to be exactly the same. Thankfully Greg saw the "M" and we ran back up to the desk. We had a discussion with the guy about how we could get it changed to a "G". Everything involved driving home and then coming back. Then the thought occured to me to ask if he could just removed the "M". He could!! Run around avoided!! Had Greg not caught that I would have had to come back and do the entire process over - whenever someone happened to notice the discrepency.

Our reports came back this weekend and both were marked "No Criminal Record" - whew! Thankfully they are aready notarized, so now they are off to the TX Secretary of State for authentication!
