Hooray!! We have gotten both of our birth certificates and our marriage license back from the Houston Chinese Consulate! These are the first three items that are completely checked off the list! It is so exciting looking at our check list and seeing three things that have checks all the way across. These three certificates are officially Authenticated by China.
We took four things to the post office on Friday morning that were ready to send to the Houston Consulate. Once there we had to buy a money order to include in the package. We were given very in-depth instructions on how the packages are to be sent to the consulate (US Express Mail only - with a US Express Mail return envelope included - with money order, etc). We get up to the desk to buy the money order and mail it off when I realize that my wallet with the cash is at home. SO - back home we go. Later that afternoon I went back to Dripping Springs to mail it off - and they closed at 4:00! Apparently God had a reason we were not to mail this packet off on Friday. There must be a faster person who will open it when we mail it on Monday!

I'm guessing that God cleared they way for you at the post office on Monday. I'm excited that things are really moving along for you two as you get step by step closer to meeting and receiving your new baby.
